Use of Buz­zsprout

Our pod­cast "Truf­fleyzer" is of­fered on the plat­form "Buz­zsprout ".

Buz­zsprout is a host­ing soft­ware ser­vice to eas­ily of­fer, pro­mote and keep track of pod­casts. Buz­zsprout is owned and man­aged by Higher Pix­els, Inc. Higher Pix­els is a small web ap­pli­ca­tion com­pany based in Jack­sonville, Florida, USA.

Buz­zsprout's pri­mary data and servers are lo­cated at Rails Ma­chine's data cen­ter in At­lanta, Geor­gia, USA, and are ren­dered from that plat­form.

For this pur­pose, we in­te­grate so-called Buz­zsprout wid­gets into our web­site. These are play­back soft­ware with which users can play the pod­casts. Here, Buz­zsprout can mea­sure which pod­casts are lis­tened to and to what ex­tent and process this in­for­ma­tion pseu­do­ny­mously for sta­tis­ti­cal and busi­ness man­age­ment pur­poses. For this pur­pose, cook­ies may be stored in users' browsers and processed for the pur­pose of cre­at­ing user pro­files, e.g. for the pur­pose of is­su­ing ads that cor­re­spond to users' po­ten­tial in­ter­ests.
